Saturday, August 14, High Noon (check in 9:30am - 11am at “I” St NE and Main St) 200 unit parade with awards and vehicles 1969 and older! The Grand Parade offers a glimpse into the past of automobiles and horse drawn carriages. Your vehicle’s age may now qualify to participate! We increased the age for greater participation and fun. Come one, come all! It's a parade and it is big!! The Grand Parade offers a glimpse into the past of automobiles, horse drawn carriages, as well as colorful, wonderful,
musical units. Join your neighbors on the curb to salute,
laugh and sing along with the parade route along Main Street in Auburn! If you would like to enter your group, vehicle, float, drill team, sports team, unit, family or friends, please fill out an application and return to the Auburn Good Ol' Days office as soon as possible!

GRAND PARADE DEDICATION In 2010 we dedicated the parade to "the Little Detroit of the West" in honor of the auto industry that helped grow our community to the wonderful place for business and family to flourish.
Auburn is full of diversity. The first amendment, which protects us all, is a right that the law dictates that we must respect in a public parade. Our parade includes all cultural communities and opinions. We are a community that includes all and excludes none. All ages, all religions, all creeds all colors are welcome in Auburn. Our community pulse beats like a heart that includes all, loves all and welcomes all. |
